INSHORE BOTTOM FISHING

With our Inshore Bottom Fishing package we do not travel out as far, instead fishing the closer inshore reefs which can provide a bit more protection from the weather. The charter duration is the same as offshore fishing, however less time travelling.  These reefs are fished more regularly and do not provide some of the species as the offshore reefs but still provide some excellent fishing.

Packages are tailored around the individual group. Some people are happy for us to guide and help them catch their first fish, while others may be more experienced and would like to do everything themselves, and that’s fine. At Reel Action Charters we pride ourselves on catering to the individual, whether you want to troll, bottom bounce, live bait, jig or even salt water fly fish we are more than happy to accommodate every situation.

Target species include Snapper, Nannygai, Blue Morwong, Whiting, Sharks, etc (not including tuna).

Full day fishing at either Marion Bay, Investigator Straight, Athorpe Island or Pondalowie.

Included : All fishing tackle including quality rods and reels using braided line on both snapper and whiting rods. You are more than welcome to use your own gear if you prefer. All bait supplied.

You get to keep all you catch and as always we are more than happy to show you how to fillet to get you started.

Price* : $320 per person,

Bookings of eight people preferred.

“For group bookings of less than eight people Reel Action will endeavour to fill the remaining spots to reach 8 people, but will run the trip at a minimum of 6 people.”
