OFFSHORE REEF FISHING

With our offshore fishing package we travel out wide to the untouched offshore reefs travelling at times 30 – 40 nautical miles offshore. These reef systems, due to being so far offshore are out of the reach of most trailer boats and offer the best chance to encounter some of the big boys as well as ensuring a good feed of quality table fish to bring home.

Target species Snapper, Nannygai, Blue Morwong, Whiting, Sharks, Samson Fish, Groper, Kingfish, Trevally  etc

Full day Reef fishing at either , North and West coasts of Kangaroo Island, Wedge Island and surrounding waters, or Neptune Islands and surrounding waters.

The mainstay of fish will be large Nannagai, swallowtail, and snapper with the very high possibility of being smashed by either a Samson Fish, Kingfish or by one of the many shark varieties we have such as large Mako’s.

Packages are tailored around the individual group. Some people are happy for us to guide and help them catch their first fish, while others may be more experienced and would like to do everything themselves, and that’s fine. At Reel Action Charters we pride ourselves on catering to the individual, whether you want to troll, bottom bounce, live bait, jig or even salt water fly fish we are more than happy to accommodate every situation.

Included : All fishing tackle including quality rods and reels using braided line on both snapper and whiting rods. You are more than welcome to use your own gear if you prefer. All bait supplied.

You get to keep all you catch and as always we are more than happy to jump in and help with the cleaning of the fish at no extra charge.

Bookings of eight people preferred.

“For group bookings of less than eight people Reel Action will endeavour to fill the remaining spots to reach 8 people, but will run the trip at a minimum of 6 people.”
