Raptor is a 2008 custom built 30′ Kevlacat in current 1B and 2C survey licensed to carry 12 passengers plus crew up to 50 nautical miles off shore. Raptor is powered by two 250  horsepower Yamaha four strokes with a cruise speed of 26 knots and a top speed of 45 knots which means we can get you to the fishing grounds very quickly and safely. Raptor carries all required safety equipment which meets current survey requirements, carries 900 litres of fuel giving her a range of 300 nautical miles and is fitted out with a Furuno electronics package including radar, autopilot, GPS and sounder.
Raptor has been custom built for serious game fishing in mind with the latest equipment and tackle to cater for every style of fishing. She has been fitted out with “Relax” out riggers, a full set of “Top Shot” gaffs and tag poles, quality rods and reels to suit every application, livebait tanks and a kill box big enough to fit any gamefish worthy of bringing home. With over 9 square metres of deck space there’s more than enough room to fight that tuna or samson fish. From bottom bouncing, Trolling or Live baiting, Raptor is fully set up to tackle any style of fishing that our customers request.
 Raptor is not only set up for the serious game fisher, we have also catered for the entire family with dinette, toilet and bunk beds for the kids and their DSs.
So if it’s a long range charter chasing tuna and samson fish, or a quiet day in the bay with the family chasing  snapper and whiting, Raptor is capable of both ends of the spectrum providing speed, seaworthiness and comfort.
